Is Capitalism Killing Us? "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Is Capitalism Killing Us?

Paul Craig Roberts

Ecological economists, such as Herman E. Daly, stress that as the external costs of pollution and resource exhaustion are not included in Gross Domestic Product, we do not know whether an increase in GDP is a gain or a loss.

External costs are huge and growing larger. Historically, manufacturing and industrial corporations, corporate farming, city sewer systems, and other culprits have passed the costs of their activities onto the environment and third parties. Recently, there has been a spate of reports with many centering on Monsantos Roundup, whose principle ingredient, glyphosate, is believed to be a carcinogen.

A public health organization, the Environmental Working Group, recently reported that its tests found glyphosate in all but 2 of 45 childrens breakfast foods including granola, oats and snack bars made by Quaker, Kellogg and General Mills. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2018/aug/16/weedkiller-cereal-monsanto-roundup-childrens-food

In Brazil tests have discovered that 83% of mothers breast milk contains glyphosate. https://www.telesurtv.net/english/news/Brazil-Poisonous-Agrotoxin-Found-Over-80-of-Breast-Milk-Samples-in-Urucui-20180809-0008.html

The Munich Environmental Institute reported that 14 of the most widely selling German beers contain glyphosate. https://sustainablepulse.com/2016/02/25/german-beer-industry-in-shock-over-probable-carcinogen-glyphosate-contamination/#.W3XKtC-ZOGQ

Glyphosate has been found in Mexican farmers urine and in Mexican ground water. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5486281/

Scientific American has reported that even Roundups inert ingredients can kill human cells, particularly embryonic, placental and umbilical cord cells.

How To Fall Asleep in 2 Minutes, 2338 "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

CLICK HERE: BillStill.com/StemCell Good morning, Im still reporting on: How To Fall Asleep in 2 Minutes, 2338 Synopsis: This is something Ive recently tried and it works for me. Ive always had trouble getting to sleep. In the first place, sleeping is an annoyance to me a big waste of time. Its a huge chunk of my life when I could be doing something productive. Only thing is, without it, our stem cells wouldnt get that uninterrupted time to catch up on the fixing the body and wed all be dead before we hit age 50. Then, there is the dread of getting in bed and not being able to shut off your brain for the evening. So, this story is very important to me and for me, its worked every time. In the military, sleep is a major problem a problem that has been studied. When you are under fire, you dont sleep much, and sleep-deprived people tend to make bad decisions. The U.S. Navy Pre-Flight School studied the situation and came up with a scientifically-tested method to fall asleep. Even after drinking coffee, 96% of pilots studied could fall asleep in two minutes or less even when sitting back in a chair. When I first read this, I thought just what you are thinking now RIGHT! But so far, it has worked for me every time Ive remembered to try it, which is every time Ive had trouble getting to sleep even during the day. Our thanks to the website, Medium for these steps: Step 1: Close your eyes and breathe slowly and deeply. Relax all your facial muscles first. Yes, there are 43 of them. Do not squint or frown. There are 6 muscles that control your eye sockets. Let them relax too. Step 2: Let your shoulders relax. Drop them as low as you can thru relaxation. Check the muscles in the back of your neck. They are key. Breathe in deeply, then exhale slowly, blowing out all the tension in your neck muscles. WARNING: I dont remember ever getting farther than this. Relaxing my neck muscles was the last thing I remember. Support Our Sponsors: Nobel Gold. Go to Trumpcoin2020.com and use the code Coin to save $5 per coin, or text Coin to 511511. Traditionally, products are designed in for a linear economy where we "take, make and dispose". This certainly has to change so that we don't continue to end up in resource scarcity. Refine your skill-set in designing for the circular economy.

If codetermination boosts output, will start-ups use it? "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Think of codetermination as requiring that say 40% of the board seats be given to workers and broad-based worker representatives (not just founders!), as in the new Elizabeth Warren bill.

Sometimes it is claimed that codetermination would limit capital returns, but boost the firms investment in labor, and thus possibly boost productivity.  Lets say a firm with codetermination would produce 10, and the same venture without codetermination would produce only 8.

If you are initiating a start-up, it seems the codetermined firm is more competitive, plus you still could bargain for some share of the extra 2 in output, albeit a smaller share of the initial 8.

A priori, this could work out as either board form proving more profitable for capital.  Still, if you think of most start-ups as being quite desperate to make it at all, I would think the productivity boost would militate in favor of the codetermination form in at least some cases.  After all, your higher productivity means you will be able to capture the market with lower prices, right?

If you dont see much voluntary codetermination, one logical conclusion is that codetermination will decrease output.  Will anyone tell me by how much?

Addendum: Here is Ryan Decker: Interesting thing about the Warren idea is that it mainly applies to large firms. The Vox write-up did not mention the voluminous literature on size-dependent distortions. Also did not mention the literature on the large firm wage premium.

And Adam Ozimek: Giving workers board seats may reduce more fissured economy stuff at existing big companies, but will probably lead to more of at it tomorrows big companies.

My musical self-education "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Musick-er requests:

Ive noticed that you tend to have pretty wide ranging tastes in music, and your recommendation on introduction to classical music was pretty spot-on. Im wondering what training/expertise you have in music theory/aural skills? As someone who is obviously very intelligent but not a musician (that I know of), I wonder how you interact with Bach or other master composers what criteria do you listen for? What makes great works stand out from the merely good?

My history is this:

1. I learned how to play the guitar when I was twelve or so, and also figured out how a piano works.

2. I spent about six years studying jazz chords, American popular song, some classic rock, early acoustic blues and ragtime, Fahey/Kottke, and Bach.  I also learned how to listen with a score, at least for guitar and piano pieces.

3. Later in life, I focused on trying to make sense of early to mid 20th century classical music and Indian classical music, both excellent entry points for many of the other difficult musical genres and styles.  I tried to learn at least something about micro-tonal musics and ragas.

4. Starting in my thirties, I tried to develop a basic familiarity with world musics, not so much the European folkie stuff as those based on different conceptual principles, such as some of the Arab musics, Chinese music, and African musics including the Pygmies.

5. I cultivated music mentors to help me understand these musics.  Overall this is not a very book-intensive endeavor, though you will enjoy reading accompanying biographies.

I am not saying that is the right path for everyone, but I found it very rewarding, including for my broader understanding of history.

To address one of the specific questions, I think of Bach-Stravinsky, classic rock, and Indian classical music (live only) as covering some of mankinds greatest cultural achievements, with only cinema in the running for possible parity.  Most of all just listen plenty, noting that the canonical opinions about what is best are actually pretty much on the mark.

Why its a Myth That Fascisms About Demographic Change and Cultural Anxiety "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

How Neoliberals Have Taught You to Play Right Into Fascists HandsWithout Knowing It

Theres a particularly funny, foolish, and gruesomely self-destructive myth making the rounds these days. It originates from the place all of todays foolish myths of political economy do: America. The myth goes like this: fascism is rising because white people are becoming a minority!! Theyre scaredits cultural anxiety!! Neoliberals, who tell this myth, have spawned a whole new phraseology for it: apparently, American whites are afraid of cultural displacement.

Now, to use this myth is to play right into the hands of the bad guysthe fascists. To see how, lets examine this myth. Is it really true?

Do you know when Americas projected to be minority white? Given the myth, you might think by 2020, or maybe 2025 at the latest. In fact, its not set to happen until 2045. Thats a generation away, my friends. Do you worry about 2045? Do you think about it daily? The myth falls apart at the slightest touch.

Then theres the mechanism. Do people suddenly develop a sixth sense of impending racial doom? Is there some kind of telegraphic awareness that spreads throughout people of a skin color? Do they suddenly have shared panic attacks? Of course not. Its not as if white people are telepathically discussing census results. Nor is it as if most white people are walking around obsessively brooding on the the number 2045. Id bet if we asked most white people what do you think will happen in 2045?, their answers would be anything but becoming a minorityeverything from the planet melts down to I finally pay off my student debt?

And what kind of culture is it precisely that American whites are going to lose? Hotdogs and ribs? Baseball? Fox News? Trips to Home Depot? Country music? Religion? Small-town bakeries? I dont mean that in a derisive wayI mean that all kinds of people partake in all those things. Even I have a pair of cowboy boots and an LL Bean shirt or five and grew up going to shows at the 9:30 Club and the Limelight. Was I displacing someoneor was I becoming American? I cant think of a single thing that white American culture really is exclusively, in the way that, say, Venetian carnivals and Parisian fashion are a thing that only really belongs to a particular social group. American culture, unlike European culture, is a genuine melding. From jazz to literature to art to dance, none of it fully belongs to any one groupand never has. Who popularized roc...

Lance Roberts: The Markets Are Now Waving A Huge Red Flag

Lance Roberts sees trouble ahead.

As chief investment strategist of Clarity Financial and chief editor of Real Investment Advice, Lance issues commentary weekly on the financial markets. He sees a major market correction/crash dead ahead, likely in early 2019 as the US economy offically slides back into recession -- though he's open to it happening sooner than that.

Based on the huge debt/decifit excess that have built up in the economy, paired with the tremendous overvaluations in asset prices seen in today's markets, Lance expects economic growth to remain anemic (at best) for the coming decade:

Baffling Ancient Quarry Found In Italy? "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

There are many ancient places upon our planet, which we are yet to cover upon our channel.

Many intriguing, unexplainable, and thus, controversial ancient ruins, that although, more than likely discovered, and noted by an academic at some point within modern history, has since been banished to selective ignorance, deliberately overlooked. This, often in favour of retaining ones funding, within a certain field of study.

Ancient quarries is an area of study, that is indeed filled with these ancient anomalies.
Seemingly machined stones litter many of the more intriguing locations, one of them undoubtedly Aswan Quarry. Not only containing an unfinished obelisk of gigantic proportions, but also, seemingly later additions, carved, as if left by a later advanced civilisation.

Additionally, the more prehistoric quarries that can be found dotting Americas great lakes, notably superior, copper mines and quarries,,, fly in the face of currently attested chronology, regarding ancient man.
We presumed that the most compelling of these sites, had indeed since their initial modern re-discovery, been widely studied by alternative researchers.

However, Cave di Cusa seems to have been largely overlooked, regardless of its astonishing ancient relics, which can be found at the site.

Located 3 kilometres south of Campobello di Mazara, in the province of Trapani, Italy
The entire quarry, and indeed the length of the ruin, is an astonishing 1.8 kilometres long, located upon a natural ridge spanning from east to west.

According to academia, this site was quarried from the beginning of the first half of the 6th century BC.
This, regardless of the clearly shifted, mysteriously abandoned, gigantic unexplainable megaliths, which still litter the site.

We feel, with such unexplainably large stones, seemingly left in-sitchu at the site, like many other unexplained sites that can be found on earth, were built by an advanced ancient civilisation, capable of building with such enormous stones.

The quarry was abandoned in 409 BC when it was captured by the Carthaginians.

Regardless of academias limited opinions regarding the quarry, we feel the most interesting and possibly most controversial anomalies to unravel, are the abandoned cuts still at the site.

Just what were these ancient people making?

Why did they abandon these curious megaliths where they lay today?

How were they able to shift such enormous stones?

We feel there is strong evidence to suggest that cave di cusa, was an ancient quarry, once used and mysteriously abandoned, by a lost civilisation once capable of shifting unimaginably enormous stones, and as such, is highl...

https://www.rt.com/usa/435463-assange-senate-testimony-destroy-russiagate/

If he accepts the Senates request to testify, Julian Assange may provide evidence that would upend allegations that Russia hacked the DNC, putting to rest two years of Russiagate hysteria, journalist Patrick Henningsen told RT.

The WikiLeaks founder should absolutely agree to speak with the US Senate Intelligence Committee but his testimony may cause problems for devout followers of Russiagates main tenets, according to Henningsen, executive editor of 21st Century Wire. Assange could in fact provide information to the committee that would destroy the sort of mainline conspiracy theory that the Russians hacked the DNC servers and stole the emails and handed them to WikiLeaks. The whole Russiagate case more or less hinges on that conspiracy theory.

In a letter made public by WikiLeaks on Wednesday, the Senate Committee requested that Assange make him...

How to Think About the World After Capitalism "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Why Capitalism Isnt the First World Anymore

Heres a tiny question: do you think America is still a first-world country? Life expectancy in Chiles higher. Kids in Pakistan, Nigeria, and Thailand dont get massacred at school. Even Rwandas building a public healthcare system. So if first-world means well-off, then somethings gone badly wrong.

The way that we still think about the world today is usually using the old Three Worlds model. The first worldcapitalist countries. The second worldcountries aspiring to a global communist revolution. The third worldeveryone else. This model of thinking was made for and by capitalismand so its no surprise that it limits to thinking of capitalism as the Best Thing That Can Ever Be.

But as capitalism collapses, its fatally unworkable. America might be a first world countrybut so what? If Chileans live longer, LOLwhat does it matter? Such a model of thinking basically said: the richer a nation gets, the bettercapitalist logic. But in American collapse we see the fact that riches alone are no guarantee that people live decent lives. In fact, those very riches, especially if theyre earned through greed, hate, and injusticein predatory waysseem to cause a nation to collapse. So riches alone arent sufficient for prosperity today. They must turn into something else. But what, precisely?

As I think about how the global economy has changed, and what its future looks like after capitalism, Ive begun to use a very different idea of what successful societies are and arenta new three worlds, if you like.

At the top are what Ill call humanized societies. Think of Western Europe. Scandinavia. Canada. Why are these societies so much more successful than America? Social democracy, youll probably say. And in a way, youre right. But I think theres a reason underlying even thatwhich makes social democracy, as a kind of political economy, possible in the first place. All these nations have human historys most sophisticated and advanced sets of rights. Healthcare, education, transportation, retirementall these as genuine constitutional, inalienable rights. Because they belong to everyone, all of a societys institutions, from governments to corporations, must go on innovating to provide them, at higher levels. Because theyre rights, these societies have evolved norms and values of decency, dignity, gentleness, and sanityat least to a degree.

So by humanized societies, I mean those that made the transition to being societies where human lives can genuinely flourish. Who didnt?

America. Why not? Its not just that social democracy could never happenmore deeply social democracy could never happen because rig...

Another Actor Calls Out Satanic Hollywood Pedophiles See Corey, I Didnt Need $10 Million "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Arjun Walia

The Facts: Isaac Kappy, an actor and writer known for his work on Terminator Salvation, Thor, Beerfest, Fanboys, etc, has come out exposing the pedophilia that is rampant in Hollywood.

Reflect On: What does this say about the satanic influence, not just in Hollywood but in our world? Our politicians and leaders? Satanism isnt about religion and the devil, this is about something much more. What are we learning from all of this?

Its truly shocking just how many revelations have come to light with regards to the physical and sexual abuse of children within the realm of the global elite. The big four areas where this activity seems to be most prevalent nowadays is within politics, the Vatican, the military industrial complex and inside of Hollywood. Within each section, there are numerous examples to pull from.

In politics, especially within the last couple of years, information is hitting the mainstream like it never has before, one example would be the fact that an NBC news report implicated Hillary Clinton in covering up a massive pedophile ring in the heart of the State Department, another would be multiple ex-high ranking political officials claiming that both the Clintons engage in sex with minors, pointing towards their close relationship with Jeffrey Epstein (who also has Royal Family connections).

Epstein is now a registered sex offender. When it comes to the Vatican, there are always disturbing acts going on. Right now, the Popes right-hand man, George Pell, is in court for sexual assault, and a massive pedophile ring has been exposed where hundreds of boys...

The economics of density: evidence from the Berlin Wall "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

From Ahfeldt, Redding, Sturm,and Wolf:

The Berlin Wall provides a unique natural experiment for identifying the key sources of urban development. This research, for which its authors have recently been awarded the prestigious Frisch Medal, shows how property prices and economic activity in the east side of West Berlin, close to the historic central business district in East Berlin, began to fall when the city was divided; then, during the 1990s, after reunification, the same area began to redevelop. Theory and empirical evidence confirm the positive relationship between urban density and productivity in a virtuous circle of cumulative causation.

The 3 Trigger Terms Being Used to Stop Critical Thinking "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Sigmund Fraud

Its a strange world of newspeak we live in. What was once a society devoted to logic and progress is now being herded in echo chambers of thought control and anti-critical thinking. Without the ability to examine an issue impartially and completely there is little hope of maintaining liberty and freedom, as history repeatedly demonstrated.

Today, we find that thinking is a diminishing art, and in its place, sound bites and stop-thought terms are used to put the brakes on the mind. These terms are widely used as signals to prevent minds from looking too deeply at a topic or issue.

Thinking critically means making reasoned judgments that are logical and well thought out. It is a way of thinking in which one doesnt simply accept all arguments and conclusions to which one is exposed without questioning the arguments and conclusions. It requires curiosity, skepticism and humility. People who use critical thinking are the ones who say things such as, How do you know that? Is this conclusion based on evidence or gut feelings? and Are there alternative possibilities when given new pieces of information?  [Source]

The three terms most widely used today to this avail are detailed below.

1.) Conspiracy Theorist This term is so overused that it really is devoid of any practical meaning. If you were to examine it at face value, though, it describes a person who is looking to understand injustices in our world and is willing to look at uncomfortable facts in search of negative influence of which there is plenty in our world today.

However, conspiracy theorist has literally become a derogatory term that is attributed to anyone who refuses to accept mainstream narratives at face value. It doesnt matter that there is overwhelming evidence to indicate that mainstream media does not value objectivity or report on important issues thoroughly or truthfully.

Now we find this term applied as a prefix to well-known journalists and media personalities, almost as we use the term Doctor. Its an adjective that precedes them everywhere, so that before you even know what issue is being discussed, you know that the issue is coming from someone considered to be fringe and unacceptable.

2.) Alt We see the label alt...

American Media Are Corrupt Beyond All Measure, They Serve the Military-Industrial Complex "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Paul Craig Roberts is an economist who served as assistant Treasury secretary in the Reagan administration, was associate editor at the Wall Street Journal, and is a former professor at Georgetown University. (Full bio).

Now retired, he is a prolific columnist for his personal site, with a very large following on the internet. He writes frequently about Russia. Edward Morgan, Prepare for Change

Putin confronts the American dystopia

We have to hand it to Putin. He is the best that there is. Note the ease with which he mopped up the floor with that idiot Chris Wallace.

By Paul Craig Roberts

What is wrong with the US media that it cannot produce a second competent journalist as company for Tucker Carlson? Why are Americas remaining good journalists, such as Chris Hedges, now in the alternate media?

All I can say, and Putin probably already knows it, is that there is more going on than presstitutes holding the relationship between Russia and the US hostage to an internal political struggle between the Democratic Party and President Trump. It is not just that the corrupt US media is serving as propagandists for the Democratic Party against President Trump.

Paul Craig Roberts

The presstitutes are serving the interest of the military/security complex, which has ownership interests in the highly concentrated US media, to keep Russia positioned as the enemy that justifies the huge $1,000 billion budget of the military/security complex. Without the Russian enemy, what is the justification for such a waste of money when so many real needs go underfunded and unfunded?

In other words, the American media are not only stupid, they are corrupt beyond all measure.

Today at 12:40 Eastern time NPR had a collection if Trump-bashers doing their utmost to prevent the Trump/Putin meeting fr...

Roundup ingredient found in Cheerios, Quaker Oats, and other cereals "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Days after a California jury awarded a school groundskeeper more than $289 million in damages after he claimed Monsantos best-selling weedkiller Roundup gave him cancer, the controversial ingredient glyphosate has been detected in popular kids breakfast cereals, including Cheerios, Lucky Charms and Quaker Old Fashioned Oats, according to an activist group.

Lab tests conducted by the left-leaning Environmental Working Group (EWG), a nonprofit advocacy group that specializes in toxic chemicals and corporate accountability, indicated almost three-fourths of the 45 food products tested detected high levels of glyphosate, which has been identified as a probable carcinogen by the World Health Organization in 2015.

But makers of the foods EWG tested said they and their suppliers operate within U.S. government safety guidelines and dismissed the groups findings as irrelevant.

However, many EWG scientists consider levels higher than 160 parts per billion of glyphosate above the safety threshold for children.

Whats more, about one-third of the 16 samples made with organically grown oats also had glyphosate, but at levels below EWGs benchmark.

Popular children items, including General Mills Cheerios Toasted Whole Grain Oat Cereal, Lucky Charms, Kelloggs Cracklin Oat Bran and Quakers Old Fashioned Oats, all had levels exceeding EWGs safety guidelines.

But while those products exceeded the EWGs threshold, they still fall within the EPAs regulations, many food brands said.

In a statement to FOX Business regarding the report, a General Mills spokesperson says, Our products are safe and without questions they meet regulatory safety levels.

The EPA has researched this issue and has set rules that we follow as do farmers who grow crops including wheat and oats.  We continue to work closely with farmers, our suppliers and conservation organizations to minimize the use of pesticides on the crops and ingredients we use in our foods, General Mills added.

Quaker also released a statement following the report, saying it does not add glyphosate during any part of the milling process, and glyphosate is commonly used by farmers across the industry who apply it pre-harvest. Kelloggs issued a similar statement, saying its food is safe and they follow the EPAs strict standards for safely levels of these agricultural residues and the ingredients we purchase from suppliers for our foods fall under these limits.

The report come days after a jury at the Superior Court of California awarded $289 million in damages to Dewayne Lee Johnson, a San Francisco school groundskeep...

Why Does Israel Keep Destroying Cultural Heritage Sites in Gaza? "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Celine Hagbard

On Thursday August 9th, the Israeli airforce dropped ten missiles on a building in Gaza City, turning the five-story building into rubble. Was this a Hamas training center, or somehow associated with the Palestinian armed resistance? No. Like the building targeted by Israeli forces two weeks earlier, when two teen boys were killed taking a selfie, this was a cultural center aimed at preserving the history and culture of the Palestinian people of Gaza.

The Said Al-Mashal Foundation for Arts and Culture was a place where cultural heritage was preserved and maintained. The Palestinian traditional dance known as dabke was taught and practiced there, poets would gather to share their latest works, and musicians would come together for jam sessions and performances.

Two weeks earlier, the Israeli airforce dropped another bomb on the Arts and Crafts Museum in Gaza City.

Why is Israel so focused on destroying Palestinian cultural artifacts, museums, arts and crafts? Is it because resistance fighters are hidden inside these centers? That is a laughable claim that is easily disproved by looking at the evidence no fighters, weapons or rockets in the rubble that remains of what had been beautiful and well-loved cultural centers.

Nor is it true that these centers were somehow collateral damage, and the bombs were targeting some other, nearby place. No, Israeli forces directly targeted these centers and in fact, after the fact, declared the strikes a success and claimed that they hit their targets directly.

No, the reality is that the centers that preserve the Palestinian peoples identity, culture and history are somehow seen as a threat to Israel, and Israeli authorities have implemented a policy that such centers must be destroyed.

Video showing the destruction of the Said al-Mashal Center:

The Middle East Eye interviewed some of the artists involved with the center.

Edrees Taleb, 27, one of the centres well-known theatre directors, was quoted in the paper as saying,

You know what it means to have been working in a place for more than eight years, so you know every tile like the back of your hand and suddenly, in the blink of an eye, everything is gone? For the past couple of months, we have been preparing for a new play entitled Anesthesia Syringe, to be played during the Eid al-Adha break, and we had installed the decoration a few hours before the building was targeted.

The Strangeness of the California Fires "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Joseph P. Farrell

Today I want to talk about those fires in California

Every now and then, I do come across a video that intrigues me(this time from Mr. D.S.M.), and so I went looking for more, and found a couple that I want to share, and comment on. But first I want to remind people of the background. Last year we saw similar fires in California, and with them, abundant indication of something highly anomalous about them, including what for me was the tell tale giveaway: plants that were unburned, but which were rolled or pushed into bizarre shapes, as if a giant had come along and stomped or twisted them into these bizarre shapes.

As I wrote in my book Covert Wars and Breakaway Civilizations, such effects are common when very high power microwaves are directed at plants. I speculated in that book, based on some British scientists studies of crop circles, that they were formed by microwaves and most likely by microwave interferometry, and were in fact a kind of test pattern to see how closely and tightly such waves  and interferometry patterns could be controlled and manipulated. If that hypothesis and speculation be true, then the crop circles are evidence that such control can indeed be very precisely directed. What one is seeing are exotic shapes and drawings being produced by remote means the interferometry while the surrounding crops are undamaged. Im even entertaining the idea (now) that such interferometry may be creating unique localized magnetic effects, and that the magnetic effects are the direct causes of the strange patterns, and not the microwave interferometry itself.

In any case, a little reflection on this speculation will show that the same basic phenomenon is in evidence in the strange fires in California: whole houses burned to a crisp, while nearby shrubs and trees appear unburned, and in some cases, not even charred by the ambient heat of the fires. That, at least, was the case last year.

Now we have fires again, and thus far, Ive been reluctant to comment on them because I wanted to see some evidence of these types of anomalies. So far there have been statements about firenados, super-heated vortices, and speculations that these could be the result of such technologies. I suspect that they can be, but need not must be, for similar vortices were reported by the survivors of the British fire-bombings of Hamburg and Dresden during the Second World War. But Mr. D.S.M. sent a long the first video that Ive linked below, and I went looking for more by the same lady doing the analysis, and found another.

At this stage, yes, I do think there may be enough to put these most recent fires in the strange category and to see the possible use of some such exotic microwave technology, perhaps in conjunction with other technologie...

Haunting Final Interview Surfaces of Dead Journalist Jen Moore; Her Chilling Details of Abuse of Alleged Clinton Rape Victim "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By True Pundit Investigative Bureau

While friends and admirers mourn the loss of investigative journalist Jen Moore who was found dead in a suburban D.C. hotel room Monday a haunting final interview has surfaced where Moore details the Clinton case she was working on at the time of her suspicious death.

Moore, an advocate who investigated abused and trafficked children, had been in the process of investigating allegations by a 26-year-old man that as a young boy he was sexually assaulted by Bill Clinton and pimped out at private sex parties attended by other D.C. elites.

Moore, who was often called Task Force as a nickname, was interviewed about the Clinton case on July 13th by YouTube and radio journalist Farmer Jones. One month later, Moores she was dead, her body found by employees at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Washington, D.C. East in Capitol Heights, Maryland. The investigation is ongoing. Autopsy results were not available on Wednesday.

During the Jones interview Moore expressed dismay and frustration that despite her sharing the details with Homeland Security agents in charge of child trafficking investigations, no one had reached out to her to follow up about the details of the alleged victim. Or the alleged suspect.

Moore died of an apparent seizure. Police said the death was not the result of suicide.

Just four weeks before her death, Moore filed details of the alleged victims claims with the Department of Homeland Security, detailing the allegations against Clinton. Moore contacted Homeland Security beginning on July 6th through July 9th, records show. A week later, she contacted the FBI with identical details about the victim and the shocking allegations against Clinton.

FBI sources report no case has been opened on the evidence supplied by Moore. Homeland Security never contacted Moore to follow up after she shared details with the agency.

Perhaps part of Moores legacy will be the overt illustration that federal agencies in charge of protecting children often turn a blind eye to investigating abuse. Especially if the alleged perpetrator is an elite political figure. This case, broken down, highlights the impossibility of an alleged victim to pierce the veil of agencies like DHS and the FBI to prompt investigation of abuses for sexual assault.

Moores story confirms a recurring and disturbing David vs Goliath scenario where, in essence, Goliath never even has to show up to fight because the federal system is already set up to protect Americas political Goliaths. While the Davids of the world, who muster up the courage to come forward and tell their stories, suffer...

Civil rights veteran Bernard LaFayette said Franklins contribution to the movement cannot be overstated.

She brought the message through music, said LaFayette, chairman of the board of the SCLC and head of the Emory University Center for Advancing Nonviolence.

He remembers attending a Franklin concert. People would come regardless of religion or ethnicity or race, he said. Her concerts broke barriers because music is the language of the soul. She was very clear and unequivocal in her support of the movement for social change.

Commercial Trade Exchange Architecture and OperationsA Conversation with Chip Davis and Charlie Davis by Thomas H. Greco, Jr. "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Recently, I came across an article about what seems to be a significant development in the commercial trade exchange industry. With our meditation, one aspect of the deadlock that holds Earth in quarantine status has been resolved. This has triggered a cascade of clearing sequences that will last for about a month. After that time, the situation will be evaluated and a new report given.

As a result of our meditation, most anomalous plasma and plasma toplet bombs in the Near Earth orbit have been cleared. Anomalous plasma with all remaining toplet bombs now tends to gravitate towards the surface.
The head of the Yaldabaoth entity is almost completely disintegrated, with lesser plasmoid entities in rapid disintegration also.

A few more layers of toplet bombs will be removed in the coming month.

When Mjolnir has touched the surface of the planet on March 8th, the Pleiadian feet has begun with surface clearing operations. Surface clearing operations have proven to be far more difficult than expected because in vast majority of cases, the surface population is not following their spiritual guidance.

People are not following their inner guidance because they have been programmed with selfishness Archon mind program. This program gives people a distorted understanding of Nash equilibrium. People incorrectly assume that the will be better off if they only take care of themselves and exclude all others. This creates a highly entropic society that is extremely difficult to predict, because chaotic free wills of surface individuals pose a n-body problem:

Fight for the Future statement on FCC Chairman Ajit Pais Senate committee testimony in response to the agencys fake DDoS attack "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

image

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: August 16, 2018

Contact: Josh Tabish, +1-778-990-1218, press@fightforthefuture.org

This morning FCC Chairman Ajit Pai and his fellow Commissioners appeared before the Senate Oversight Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation on the heels of revelations that the FCC lied to Congress about a supposed cyber attack, which was alleged to have happened just as millions of John Oliver viewers were attempting to file pro-net neutrality comments with agency. A recently released internal FCC report sheds light on internal agency system failures that caused the website to crash, not a cyberattack.

The following statement can be attributed to Sarah Roth-Gaudette, Fight for the Futures Executive Director:

Under fire from Senators this morning, its hard to say what Pai did faster: talk, or throw his staff under the bus. Today removed any doubt that Ajit Pai will be remembered as one of the worst FCC Chairs in U.S. history, and he should resign immediately. When pressed on exactly how long he knew the FCCs alleged cyber attack was fake, Pai shrugged and said his hands were tied. Sorry Chairman Pai, but refusing to take responsibility doesnt cut it for us or the American people you serve.

Chairman Pais bogus claim that the sky has not fallen since net neutrality was repealed is at best naive and at worst intentionally misleading. With a vote to overturn the repeal passed in the Senate and pending in the House, and 23 Attorneys General suing the FCC over it, Internet service providers like Comcast and AT&T arent going to restructure the entire Internet while the heat is on.

Today Pai admitted he knew that the alleged cyber attack was bogus months ago. No matter which side of the aisle youre on, you should be completely outraged. We provided the FCC with proof that the DDoS attack was totally made up months ago, yet the agency still lied to Congress and failed to escalate the issue to the proper authorities. If this isnt clear evidence of an agency sabotaging its own process to reach a predetermined outcome, then I dont know what is. What is clear is this: the FCCs net neutrality repeal is not only undemocratic, its illegitimate. And Congress must reverse it by passing the CRA as soon as possible.

The only thing that will stop [risk-averse public officials] from delaying or killing the vision of public banking is the sheer numerical and moral force of activists, in the thousands. Nothing less will guarantee that Los Angeles gets its public bank. If there is not unyielding public demand, there will be no public bank.

Bayer Shares Plunge By 12.5 Billion After Monsanto Court Case "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Bayer AG, the German multinational pharmaceutical and life sciences company, is in panic after a huge share sell off on Monday morning, following the decision from a landmark legal case in San Francisco, which judged that the glyphosate-based weedkiller Roundup causes cancer. SEE: Jury Ruled Monsanto Liable In Case Of Man Dying Of Cancer After Using Weedkiller

The German companys newly acquired Monsanto subsidiary was left in shock Friday after they lost a landmark cancer trial in San Francisco and was ordered by the Judge to pay over USD 289 Million in total damages to the former school groundskeeper Dewayne Johnson, a California father who has non-Hodgkins lymphoma, which was caused by Monsantos glyphosate-based weedkiller Roundup.

Johnson, a father of three and former school groundskeeper, who doctors say may have just months to live, was the first person to take Monsanto to trial over allegations that the chemical sold under the Roundup brand causes cancer. About 4,000 other people in the U.S. claim in lawsuits they were sickened by Roundup.

Johnsons attorneys said he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma after spraying the glyphosate-based Roundup weed killer for two and a half years.

Monsanto is responsible for Dewayne Lee Johnsons illness, suffering and reduced life expectancy because of the cancer-causing nature of its product, glyphosate-based weedkiller Roundup, the San Francisco Superior Court jury determined on Friday. The jury deliberated for three days after a four-week trial.

The damages included $2.3 million in economic losses, $37 million for pain and emotional distress and $250 million in punitive damages. The punitive damages were based on the jurys unanimous finding that Monsanto had acted with malice or oppression toward Johnson.

Johnson has undergone chemotherapy and is considering a bone-marrow transplant. One of his doctors testified that Johnson is unlikely to survive until 2020.

RBS bankers joked about destroying the US housing market "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Transcripts of pre-financial crisis conversations show senior bankers disregard for customers

By Rob Davies

RBS bankers joked about destroying the US housing market after making millions by trading loans that staff described as total fucking garbage, according to transcripts released as part of a $4.9bn (3.8bn) settlement with US prosecutors.

Details of internal conversations at the bank emerged just weeks before the 10-year anniversary of the financial crisis, which saw RBS rescued with a 45bn bailout from the UK government.

The US Department of Justice (DoJ) criticised RBS over its trade in residential mortgage backed securities (RMBS) financial instruments underwritten by risky home loans that are cited as pivotal in the global banking crash.

It said the bank made false and misleading representations to investors in order to sell more of the RMBS, which are forecast to result in losses of $55bn to investors.

Transcripts published alongside the settlement reveal the attitude among senior bankers at RBS towards some of the products they sold.

The banks chief credit officer in the US referred to selling investors products backed by total fucking garbage loans with fraud [that]was so rampant [and]all random.

He added that the loans are all disguised to, you know, look okay kind of in a data file.

The DoJ said senior RBS executives showed little regard for their misconduct and, internally, made light of it.

In one exchange, as the extent of the contagion in the banking industry was becoming clear, RBS head trader received a call from a friend who said: [Im] sure your parents never imagine[d]theyd raise a son who [would]destroy the housing market in the richest nation on the planet.

He responded: I take exception to the word destroy. I am more comfortable with severely damage.

Another senior banker explained to a colleague that risky loans were the result of a broken mortgage industry that meant lenders were raking in the money and were incentivised to make as many loans as possible.

Employees who might raise the alarm about the riskiness of such lending dont give a shit because theyre not getting paid, he said.

Why Americans Struggle to Understand Social Democracy "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

What Social Democracy and Socialism AreAnd Arent

I chuckle every time I hear itwhich is every day, lately. Denmark isnt socialism! France isnt socialist!! Theres no socialism in Europe! So say American elitespundits, columnists, usually men with earnest glasses. Have they been smoking too much capitalism?

Theyre reacting to the dire prospect of socialism like priests who just met the devilonly the devil was busy saving souls from hell. They dont quite know what to do with that. How to process it. They dont even understand, funnily enough, just like those priests, whether or not to even call it the devil anymore. Hence: Nothings socialism!! Nope!!how else to square the prospect of socialism rising amongst young Americans, except by denying it exists? Thats not the devil!!thats just another cowboy!!

The devil, my friends, is the devil. Only maybe he was never the monster you thought. Lets dispel a few myths.

Social democracy isnt the cartoonish Cold War caricature of socialism (hence, Americans dont understand it well.) Americas weary, Red Scare caricature of socialisma bunch of bearded Marxist-Leninist intellectuals, all of whom look like Che Guevara in berets, sipping coffee on the Left Bank, plotting the violent global overthrow of the bourgeoisie by the proletariat, debating abstruse theories of the means of production and the fraternity of labor, which will lead inevitably to global communist revolution, under a single world government. If thats what you mean by socialismin other words, ideas from the 1850s, spoken by men in the 1950sits true to say that social democracy isnt that. But is that what socialism really is at all, in any sensethis cartoon villain?

Without socialism, life as you know it wouldnt exist. You already know socialism. Socialism is your favourite park, school library. Its the time you spend there. Its the people who work there. You like socialism. Socialism is your friend.

Think about in the opposite sense. Imagine we were back in 18th century London, Amsterdam, or Paris. If wed obeyed modern-day American economics, where would these cities have ended up? Without sewers, pipes, parks, avenues, squares, or even gutters, probably. And yet Flint doesnt have potable drinking water. Do you see my point? American thought lives in a fantasylandsocialism is the devil!! And yet, modern life as we know would cease to exist overnight without it. Youd be taking out a honeybucket every morningnot flushing a toilet (gross, right?) In that sense, you already know socialism, intimatelyand youve known it all your life. It isnt the bizarre Stalinesque, Leninist caricature of the Cold W...

How Rockefeller Bankrolled Soviet Russia "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Forgotten history: US bankers financing US enemiesand why it is important now

By Jon Rappoport

In 1971, Gary Allen published his book, None Dare Call it Conspiracy. It quickly became an unofficial best seller.

Over the years, several million copies have been sold.

Allens thesis was stark: super-rich American capitalists were financing socialism. This bizarre paradox was resolved when socialism was properly understoodnot as power to the peoplebut as elite power over the people. In other words, as a hoax.

These days, the socialist hoax is still unknown to most of the population.

Cloak a global power grab as progress for all of humanity.

Here, from chapter six of None Dare Call it Conspiracy, The Rockefellers and the Reds, is a devastating passage commenting on the period just after the Russian Revolution of 1917:

The Rockefellers assigned their public relations agent, Ivy Lee, to sell the American public the idea that the Bolsheviks were merely misunderstood idealists who were actually kind benefactors of mankind.

Professor Antony Sutton of Stanford Universitys Hoover Institution, notes in his highly authoritative Western Technology and Soviet Economic Development:

Quite predictably[Ivy] Lee concludes that the communist problem is merely psychological. By this time he is talking about Russians (not Communists) and concludes they are all right. He suggests the United States should not engage in propaganda; makes a plea for peaceful coexistence; and suggests the United States would find it sound policy to recognize the USSR and advance credits [give loans]. (Antony Sutton, Western Technology and Soviet Economic Development, 1917-1930, Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace, Stanford University, Calif., 1968, p.292)

After the Bolshevik Revolution, Standard of New Jersey [Rockefeller] bought 50 per cent of the Nobels huge Caucasus oil fields even though the property had theoretically been nationalized [by Russia]. (OConnor, Harvey, The Empire Of Oil, Monthly Review Press, New York, 1955, p.270.)

In 1927, Standard Oil of New York [Rockefeller] built a refinery in Russia, thereby helping the Bolsheviks put their economy back on its feet. Professor Sutton states: This was the first United States investment in Russia sin...

Today, national advocacy groups ACLU, CREDO Action, Demand Progress, Fight for the Future, and Free Press Action Fund are submitting a single-question questionnaire to 38 representatives and their challengers in the upcoming midterms.

The questionnaire poses the following to incumbents and challengers, with a request for responses by September 4, 2018:

For incumbents: Have you signed, or do you firmly commit within the next 30 calendar days to sign, the discharge petition for the House net neutrality CRA, and will you vote in favor of the net neutrality CRA if it comes up for a vote?

For challengers: If you were a current member of the House of Representatives, would you have signed the discharge petition for the House net neutrality CRA, and would you vote in favor of the net neutrality CRA if it came up for a vote?

Districts in which incumbents and challengers are receiving the questionnaire are: IA-1, IL-12, VA-7, PA-8, VA-10, TX-7, FL-26, CA-10, FL-25, NY-11, NY-19, PA-1, NJ-5, GA-06, AR-2, TX-23, NY-24, CA-25, NJ-7, MN-2, UT-04, FL-18, CA-04, AZ-02, AZ-1, MN-3, ME-02, NY-23, CA-48, IL-6, PA-17, PA-16, NY-21, NY-22, CA-21, CA-45, KS-03, NY-01

All of the representatives and challengers receiving the questionnaire are running in competitive districts where net neutrality will be an important issue for voters and where the current member of Congress has not yet signed the discharge petition to bring a vote on the Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to restore net neutrality. The CRA passed the Senate in May with bipartisan support, and the CRA discharge has been signed by 177 members in the House, including Republican Representative Mike Coffman. The CRA needs the support of a simple majority, or 218 members to pass the House. It would immediately restore the net neutrality protections repealed by the Federa...

Mind The SKEW-Its Hazing Wall Streets Complacency "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Still, there is one rather more obscure indicator which shows that there is growing concern in one specific corner of the market, namely the CBOE SKEW index. The index is a measure of perceptions regarding tail risk among traders of S&P 500 options (a  detailed explanation can be found here).

In brief, when the SKEW index rises above the threshold of 100, this group of traders believes that tail risk is rising. The index reflects the relative demand for low strike puts and readings above 100 indicate that the probability of outlier events is held to be increasing. Since SPX options are primarily a playground of institutional traders this is usually not considered a contrary indicator, particularly when high SKEW readings coincide with signs of complacency everywhere else.

Economic Contagion? Why Central Banks Are The Real Culprit "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

The Feds balance sheet cuts do not only cause havoc in stock markets. Emerging market economies have grown increasingly dependent on the flow of cheap dollars and financial assets precipitated by the Feds stimulus measures over the past decade. If you were wondering where most of that bailout money and quantitative easing money were going over the years and you did not study the audit of TARP, then you might be surprised to find out that trillions in no interest overnight loans were going to foreign banks and corporations rather than U.S. banks. This included emerging market nations.

Understanding the Process of Transformation "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By JPK

I feel a basic knowledge of the process of transformation, regarding our personal and collective growth, needs to be brought to light, as it seems it is being lost within the chaotic distraction that is our everyday life. Now more than ever, we must remain focused in our journey and not allow ourselves to become swept up in the tornado of dis-information and propaganda set to keep us from discovering our true potential. It is time to wake up and take charge, therefore, in the interest of spreading awareness, I would like to lay out a general procedure that, when adhered to, leads to real change, both individually and collectively.

Here are my three steps to transformation (with explanations):

Step 1. STOP  recognise, take responsibility, assess

As the saying goes: If you keep doing what youve always done, then youll continue to get what youve always got!

We cannot change and stay the same, therefore, the first thing that needs to be done when we come up against discordance in our lives is to STOP! We must assess our lives and identify the areas in which we have become stuck. Recognise that the ways we have been dealing with (or ignoring) these issues is not working, for if it was, then we would not still be suffering them.

To effectively move into the next steps, we must resolve to destroy the patterns that have not worked for us in the past so that we may clear the way for the new tracks to be laid. This begins by becoming aware of them.

An important aspect to this step is in taking responsibility for our own life experience. We must cease blaming others and see that our experience is shaped from within. Only then can we move from a state of victimhood into a space where we may begin to reclaim our power as sovereign beings.

Step one takes a lot of reflection. We must constantly assess where we are operating from and the underlying emotion that is driving our actions. This can be a daunting process as it may reveal to us just how little control we have had in our life. However, it is also very powerful, as in finding where we no longer wish to be, we establish a clear direction for our steps to come.

Summary CULTIVATE AWARENESS & DECONSTRUCT OLD PATTERNS!

Step 2. HEAL  allow, acknowledge, feel, forgive, let go

BRIC tourists to South Africa still down a quarter from 2013 "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

BRIC tourist numbers to South Africa rose by 6.1% in 2017, but still 23.4% below 2013 levels

South African recently hosted tourism exhibitors from 23 African countries [PREUSS]

The release of the Tourism 2017 report by Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) this week showed that although there was a strong rebound in 2016 and 2017, the country was still suffering from the misguided imposition of more stringent visa requirements in October 2014, as the number of overseas tourists from South Africas BRICS partners, remained below their 2013 levels.

The release of the report also highlighted Stats SAs resource constraints as its budget has been cut by R400 million in the previous fiscal year. The Tourism report this year was released more than four months later than the 2015 report, which was released on April 4 2016.

New visa regulations from October 2014 that required an in-person visit for biometric data to South African consulates for visitors from non-visa exempt countries such as China, Russia and India had an impact, but there were other factors at play as only one (The Netherlands) of the Top Ten overseas source countries showed an increase in 2014 compared with 2013.

The visa requirements were relaxed and the capacity to process them was improved in 2015 and 2016 in a belated attempt to mitigate the effects on the tourism industry.

As ten tourists are estimated to create one job, the 84 110 drop in BRIC tourist numbers from 359,429 in 2013 to 275,319 in 2017 has cost some 8,000 jobs at a time when the unemployment rate exceeds 27 per cent.

The Department of Home Affairs administers the visa requirements. Several countries such as Brazil and most European countries are exempt from visas provided they stay less than 90 days. Visas are not issued at South African ports of entry, and airline officials are obliged to insist on visas before allowing passengers to board. If a visitor arrives without a visa, immigration officials are obliged to put the visitor onto a flight back to the country of origin.

South African hotel groups such as Southern Sun said the removal of South Africa from Chinese tour operator brochures due to the biometric requirements probably explained the 62 per cent plunge in Chinese tourists between November 2013 and November 2014. In 2017 there was a 17 per cent decline to 97, 069, whi...

What should I ask Bruno Maes? "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

I will be doing a Conversation with him.  Bruno is the author of Dawn of Eurasia: On the Trail of the New World Order, published earlier in the United Kingdom but just now in the United States.  It is one of the essential reads of the last few years and was last year a tied favorite for my Book of the Year.

On the book:

Well, it turns out there is a book explaining all the recent, strange events in China, Russia, Turkey and the European Union

Here is his excellent recent piece on what the West is becoming, and why.  I also have read he is currently writing a book on Chinas One Belt, One Road.

On Bruno, here is one bit from Wikipedia:

Bruno Maes is a Portuguese politician, political scientist, business strategist, and author. He studied at the University of Lisbon and Harvard University, where he wrote his doctoral dissertation under Harvey Mansfield. He is currently a Nonresident Senior Fellow at Hudson Institute in Washington.

My Conversation with Bruno is in fact one reason why I took my August trip to Kiev and Baku what better and indeed necessary way to prepare for a discussion of Eurasia?

So what should I ask him?

Why statistical discrimination is higher than is either socially optimal or Bayesian rational "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Lets say there is only a mild amount of statistical discrimination in a system.  Not prejudice, just a social judgment that some groups are more likely to succeed at some tasks than others.  Most people, for instance, do not expect women to reach the NBA, but I would not from that conclude they are prejudiced.

But now introduce a further assumption.  There are multiple layers of evaluation, and at each layer people, and institutions, wish to be seen as successful talent spotters, mentors, and coaches.  High schools wish to promote students who will get into good colleges.  Colleges wish to invest in students who will get into best grad schools, or get the best jobs.  Firms wish to hire workers who will rise to CEO, even if elsewhere.  And so on.  Lets say there are ten levels to this game.

Each level will apply its own statistical discrimination tax, whether intentionally or not.  Say for instance there is (mild) statistical discrimination against women at the CEO level.  Firms that wish to hire and promote future CEOs will be less likely to seek out women to hire, including at lower levels.  This may or may not be conscious bias; for instance the firms may decide to look for certain personality traits that, for whatever reason, are harder to find in women.  Theyll simply be making decisions that give them plaudits as good talent spotters.

Colleges will then consider similar factors in their decisions.  And so will high schools.  And so on.  In equilibrium, all ten levels of the game will levy a partial statistical discrimination tax, with or without conscious bias in thee discriminatory direction.

Does this sound familiar?  It is a bit like the double/multiple marginalization dilemma in microeconomics.  The number of discrimination taxes multiplies, at each level.  Just like the medieval barons put too many tolls on the river.  All of a sudden the initially mild statistical discrimination isnt so mild any more, due to it being applied at so many veto-relevant levels.  (As you will recall from the double marginalization problem, each supplier does not take into account the effect of his/her mark-up or tax on the gains from trade elsewhere in the system.)

So say the Bayesian rational level of statistical discrimination is a five percent discount.  You can get far more than that as the actual effective tax on the disadvantaged group, with everyone in the system behaving in a self-interested manner.

And of course these taxes will discourage effort from the disadvantaged groups, to the detriment of efficiency and also justice.

I am indebted to Anecdotal for a useful query related to this discussion.

5 Signs That Global Financial Markets Are Entering A Bear Market, And 11 Ways That You Can Get Prepared For The Chaos That Is Coming "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

We havent seen carnage like this in the global financial marketplace in quite some time.  On Wednesday, U.S. stocks were down some, but things were much, much worse around the rest of the world.  Global banking stocks are plunging, emerging market stocks are cratering, and emerging market currencies continue their stunning decline.  This represents a dramatic change from the relative stability that we have seen throughout most of 2018.  It is almost as if someone flipped a switch once the month of August began, and the shakiness of global financial markets has many investors wondering what trouble fall will bring.  What we are witnessing right now is not a full-blown panic yet, but it definitely has the potential to turn into one.

The term bear market is being thrown around a lot lately, but a lot of people dont understand what a bear market actually is.

A bear market is generally considered to be when we see a decline of 20 percent or more from the 52-week high, and after the carnage of this past week a lot of those thresholds are now being crossed.

It would probably be too early to call this a global stock market crash, but we are well on the way to getting there.  The following are 5 signs that global financial markets are entering a bear market

#1 Global stocks have now fallen beneath all key moving averages.  Those key moving averages are important psychological thresholds for investors, and if we have a few more days like Wednesday we could see global financial markets go into full panic mode.

#2 European banking stocks have now officially entered a bear m...

Why (Real) Change Always Seems to be Harder Than Americans Think "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

What Will it (Really) Take to Stop American Collapse

Support for Medicare For All skyrocketing. Elizabeth Warrens plan for 40% of boards to be made of workers. A slate of minorities winning Democratic nominations.

Were seeing the glimmers, maybe of American renewal. Can these three things save America? Theyd go a long way to mitigating the three great trends of American collapsethat much is true. Falling life expectancy. Shrinking real incomes. Skyrocketing inequality. And yet I cant help but feel that the question America faces is larger, deeper, and truer.

Imagine that all those minorities head off to Congress. And there they meet the giant, gleaming money machine that has eviscerated American democracy. Will they able to resist? Would you? One by one, they sell outat least some of them. Now money has what it wants, only more sothe illusion of an inclusive democracy, but the reality of control.

Imagine that public healthcare passesyet this is a time of collapse. When times are comfortable and pleasant againwhos to say that, for example, white Americans wont decide to yank it away all over again? Hey! Everyones better nowI dont want to pay for those dirty Mexicans and blacks to go to the doctor!! Isnt that well within the realm of possibility?

Imagine that those board representative workers elect do what Americas GOP does todayplease a minority fringe for just long enough to cash in, and then exit. And though theyre shamed and scornedwhy would they care? They head off to their Hamptons mansions.

Youre beginning to see what I mean. Real change always seems to be harder than Americans think. Why is that?

Have you noticed how American men, when they ascend to the heights of power, seem to act in the same abusive, harmful, and demeaning ways? Whether theyre on the left or the right? Theres Weinsteinand Jim Jordan. Theres Roger Ailesand Charlie Rose and Bill Cosby. Whats common to all these men? The norms of greed, cruelty, abusiveness, entitlement, and predation that seem to permeate America, somehow.

I dont mean that all Americans, all men, are like that. Not at all. But I do mean that theyre examples who show us, perhaps, what, too often, Americans think they really deservethe hidden norms, the open secrets behind the daily niceties of life. Theyre not very pleasan...

China Uighurs: Beijing denies detaining one million "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

China has said reports it is holding a million Muslim Uighurs in detention in Xinjiang are completely untrue.

Uighurs enjoyed full rights but those deceived by religious extremism shall be assisted by resettlement and re-education, officials said.

The rare admission from Beijing at a UN meeting in Geneva came in response to concerns that the region resembles a massive internment camp.

Xinjiang has seen intermittent violence followed by crackdowns for years.

China accuses Islamist militants and separatists of orchestrating the trouble.

China has sent a 50-strong delegation to the two-day meeting of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

On Friday, committee member Gay McDougall said she was concerned by reports that Beijing had turned the Uighur autonomous region into something that resembles a massive internment camp.

In his response, Hu Lianhe, deputy director of Chinas United Front Work Department of the Communist Party Central Committee, said: Xin...

https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/international-news/australia-oceania/australia-adopts-presumption-of-guilt-denying-any-presumption-of-innocence-rejecting-all-principles-of-a-free-society/

Australia is really rejecting all the basic tenets of civilization and is moving ever closer and closer to simply an authoritarian government. Australia is rejecting the foundation of a FREE SOCIETY by rejecting the presumption of innocence and assuming you are just guilty while shifting the burden to you to prove you are innocent. Australia has rejected the fundamental principle of a FREE SOCIETYand is now crossing into the zone of an authoritarian regime that is unfit for consideration of capital investment. This is a BLUNT statement, but it is one that indeed is shocking to have to even write.

Australia is making it that anyone convicted of any crime whatsoever that they can call a criminalwill have the burden to explain how they got all the money in their life. In reality, Australia has restored the very greed of the state that led to the abuse of the rule of law that even led to the both the English Civil War and the American Revolution. August 15, 2018: This summer, something strange has been happening in the mesosphere. The mesosphere is a layer of Earths atmosphere so high that it almost touches space. In the rarefied air 83 km above Earths surface, summertime wisps of water vapor wrap themselves around speck of meteor smoke. The resulting swarms of ice crystals form noctilucent clouds (NLCs), which can be seen glowing in the night sky at high latitudes.

And, no, thats not the strange thing.

Northern sky watchers have grown accustomed to seeing these clouds every summer in recent years. They form in May, intensify in June, and ultimately fade in July and August. This year, however, something different happened. Instead of fading in late July, the clouds exploded with unusual luminosity. Kairo Kiitsak observed this outburst on July 26th from Simuna, Estonia:

Kairo-Kiitsak-DSC_0943_1532595355

It was a mind-blowing display, says Kiitsak. The clouds were visible for much of the night, with intense ripples for 3 hours.

Other observers saw similar displays in July and then, in August, the clouds persisted. During the first half of August 2018, reports of NLCs to Spaceweather.com have tripled compared to the same period in 2017. The clouds refuse to go away.

Researchers at the University of Colorado may have figured out why. There has been an unexpected surge of water vapor in the mesosphere, says Lynn Harvey of  Colorados Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP). July went out like a lion!

This plot, which Harvey prepared using data from NASAs satellite-based Microwave Limb Sounder (MLS) instrum...

DARPA Wants to Reinvent Electronics "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Joseph P. Farrell

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA, or as we like to refer to it here, following a suggestion of Mr. J.B., the Diabolically Apocalyptic Research Projects Agency, has a plan to reinvent electronics, and specifically, the computer chip, and even to reinvent the way chip innovations are done. Mr. R.M. shared this story by Martin Giles from the MIT Technology Review, and theres something in it that caught my eye, particularly in view of yesterdays end-of-the-twig high octane speculation about steam locomotives and Union Pacifics heritage fleet of steam engines.

Heres the story:

DARPA has an ambitious $1.5 billion plan to reinvent electronics

Theres the usual DARPA boilerplate about not only engineering, but engineering how engineering is done:

One project aims to radically reduce the time it takes to create a new chip design, from years or months to just a day, by automating the process with machine learning and other tools so that even relatively inexperienced users can create high-quality designs.

No one yet knows how to get a new chip design completed in 24 hours safely without human intervention, says Andrew Kahng of the University of California, San Diego, whos leading one of the teams involved. This is a fundamentally new approach were developing.

Were trying to engineer the craft brewing revolution in electronics, says William Chappell, the head of the DARPA office that manages the ERI program. The agency hopes that the automated design tools will inspire smaller companies without the resources of giant chip makers, just as specialized brewers in the US have innovated alongside the beer industrys giants.

But then there was something that caught my eye, implying that DARPA wants an entirely new type of chip architecture:

Another ERI project will explore ways in which novel circuit integration schemes can eliminate, or at least greatly reduce, the need to shift data around. The ultimate goal is to effectively embed computing power in memory, which could lead to dramatic increases in performance.

On the chip architecture front, DARPA wants to create hardware and software that can be reconfigured in real time to handle more general tasks or specialized ones such as specific artificial-intelligence applications. Today, multiple chips are needed, driving up complexity and cost.

Some of DAR...

Will Unapproved Opinions Be Censored Off the Internet? "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Stefan Gleason

False opinions are like false money, struck first of all by guilty men and thereafter circulated by honest people who perpetuate the crime without knowing what they are doing. Joseph de Maistre

You wouldnt be reading this if you didnt value alternative points of view. After all, you could easily click your mouse right now to CNBC, CNN, or The New York Times for conventional news and opinion.

The fact that you have the slightest ability to bypass big medias biased filters makes them and their ideological allies furious.

Some members of Congress who clearly dont like the spirit of the First Amendment are working with Internet gatekeepers at Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Apple (now a trillion-dollar corporation) to try to prevent you from accessing information they havent approved.

Silicon Valley executives recently appeared before Congress, where several representatives called for big tech to implement more aggressive restrictions on hate speech and conspiracy theories.

Shortly thereafter one of their main targets, alternative media personality Alex Jones, had his Facebook account suspended, multiple videos removed from YouTube, and podcasts deleted from streaming services.

Has Jones made some controversial claims over the years? Sure.

But he has also hosted top-notch experts on his program who are willing to speak inconvenient truths about our monetary system, about market manipulation, about the globalist agenda.

Among his guests have been Gerald Celente and Jim Rickards (both of whom have appeared multiple times on the Money Metals podcast), former Congressman Ron Paul, and even Donald Trump (early in his presidential run).

Its pretty safe to say that Donald Trump would never have become GOP Nominee Trump let alone President Trump without the sizeable backing he got on alternative media and social media platforms.

Now many of his supporters are being de-platformed and shadow banned by social media CEOs who were in the bag for Hillary Clinton.

This is only a preview of whats to come in the event that big tech and big media titans help install a new Congressional majority this fall and perhaps a new President in 2020. Our once free and open Internet could become as centrally controlled and censored as it is in Communist China.

Yes, we still have the First Amendment. But...

Rainn Wilson Deletes Several Satanic, Pedophilia Laced Tweets "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Haley Kennington

Tweets have surfaced on Reddit from actor Rainn Wilsons account that mention eating human baby meat, draining blood from a child and the scarification of virgins.

Rainn Wilson is an actor best known for his role in The Office as Dwight Schrute where he was also a writer. Wilson currently lives in Los Angeles with his fiction writer wife, Holiday Reinhorn, but they also happen to run a foundation in Haiti for disadvantaged girls named Lide Haiti.

The now deleted tweets are quite grotesque:

WARNING, these are graphic:

The tweets have been deleted, but were archived in the comment thread of a tweet belonging to YouTube personality Jordan Sather (@Jordan_Sather_).

Big League Politics spoke with Sather and he was unaware of the photo collage and was unsure which tweet it had been left on.

The mass deletion of Tweets, James Gunn style, makes one wonder if Wilson used NBC News advice on how to get rid of all those pesky satanic and pedophilia laced tweets:

Daily Business Operations Using Free Software "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

People often ask about the free software tools Agaric uses to manage our cooperative business. In this article, we share some of the free software tools we use for office tasks and administration as well as communications. These are Agaric's chosen resources -- the tools we use today for our daily business operations.

Agaric uses free software whenever possible. We build websites using Drupal, a free software content management system, and we are long time participating members of the Drupal Community. When we cannot use free software, we actively search for and contribute to groups working towards solutions.

[...]

You may also wonder why we say "Free Software" and not "Open Source" since the code in both instances is essentially the same. We use the term "Free Software" because it includes the ethical principles about respecting user's freedom. Free software ethics say that users deserve control over the code they use, whereas using the term "Open Source" cites only the goal of letting users participate in the development. We support the ideals of software protecting your rights and not leaving you vulnerable.

Robert Steele: Something Wicked This Way Comes Fake News False Flag Deep State Death Rattle "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Robert David Steele

Hats Off to State of the Nation and Mike Adams of Natural News  for two excellent summaries of how mainstream and social media fake news, the digital assassination of Alex Jones, Mike Adams and tens of thousands of conservative voices by the ADL (the Zionist secret police and trusted flaggers for #GoogleGestapo yes, we note the irony), and a possible false flag event are all converging as we approach Election Day 2018.

Something Wicked Comes This WayBy Election Day

Censorship PURGE points to imminent false flag violence before mid-term elections bigger than 9/11?

The goal: suppress all right of center votes, mobilize all left of center votes and the 47% who did not vote in 2016. My concern: President Trump is not engaging with the 99%, not confronting the Deep State on 9/11 and the many domestic false flag operations; not creating his own two-way Trump Truth Channel and public information ecology; not pressing for #UNRIG the Election Reform Act which would at a minimum mandate (and pay for) paper ballots counted publicly on site. If there is a major false flag event I predict it will be in Chicago where Rahm Emanuel, ubber-Zionist, can be trusted to do a Rudy Guliani and completely cover up the Deep State / Zionist contruction of the false flag or in Los Angeles, where there are so many pedophiles beholden to the Deep State that both law enforcement and the media will be easily controlled.

Malawi Witch-doctors suspected of snatching children and using their body parts for wealthy clients "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Mistaken for vampires and accused of witchcraft, BBC crew nearly stoned to death in Malawi

By RT News

A BBC film crew investigating a string of child killings in the southern African state of Malawi narrowly escaped death, after an undercover meeting with a witch-doctor was interrupted by a mob accusing them of being vampires.

The documentary team from BBC Africa were working alongside undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, who never shows his face, to investigate a string of murders which have been attributed to black-magic muti witch-doctors.

Victims have been found without heads and missing body parts. Witch-doctors are suspected of snatching children and young people and using their body parts as get-rich amulets for wealthy clients.

Posing as a wealthy businessman looking to increase his wealth, Anas tracked down a self-confessed killer named Kamanga, who told the team, in secret footage published on Monday, that the most useful parts for good luck were the head and genitals. Along with an associate, Kamanga told the BBC team that he could create good luck for the businessman by killing and sucking out the blood of children.

A further meeting with the killers at night, saw them describe how they could also break the skull and remove either the brain or tongue.

But the meeting was interrupted by the sounds of an approaching mob of villagers nearby.

They were armed with machetes, knives and stones and accused the BBC team of being vampires and killers. Showing the villagers their press accreditation failed to quell the mob, with one cutting the back of Anas suit with a knife. The journalists started running and were pursued by the mob, who threw stones at them.

They were going to end our lives, Anas said, as he recalled their flight from the angry villagers. The team managed to escape by running for their lives into the night, later to be saved by community police and a local chief.

They suffering injuries from stones being thrown by the mob and one of the cars the team was travelling in was also destroyed. Kamanga and his associate also managed to escape in the confusion.

The incident brought an end to the BBC teams investigation and according to them many of the murders remain unsolved.

Judge refuses to toss lawsuit accusing Harvey Weinstein of sex trafficking "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Kaja Whitehouse

A Manhattan federal judge has OKd a lawsuit that accuses Harvey Weinstein of being a sex trafficker.

The judge gave the thumbs-up Tuesday to the suit, which was filed by aspiring British actress Kadian Noble, claiming that the Shakespeare In Love producer violated federal laws against sex trafficking when he lured her to his Cannes, France, hotel room with false promises of an acting role for the purpose of sex.

Weinstein sought to squash the civil lawsuit by arguing that letting it proceed would unfairly expand the federal sex-trafficking statute to all sexual activity occurring between adults in which one party holds a superior position of power and influence, court papers show.

Weinstein also claimed that Nobles assertions that he engaged in a commercial sex act dont apply to her case because nothing of value was exchanged.

Noble sued Weinstein last year, saying he set her up for an unwanted sexual encounter when they met in London, where he told her that he had a role in mind for her and that it will be good for you.

When they met again in February 2014 in Cannes, the movie producer asked Noble to come to the Le Majestic Hotel to discuss her film reel, the lawsuit said.

Instead, he began massaging her and instructed her to walk up and down the room for him as part of an audition before assaulting her in the bathroom, she claimed.

Everything will be taken care of for you if you relax, Noble claims he told her when she resisted his advances.

Judge Robert Sweets ruling noted that other courts have applied civil claims of sex trafficking to defendants who have lured women, under false pretenses, with lucrative promises for sexual purposes.

Here the pattern of behavior alleged a knowing and understanding that Harvey would use fraudulent means to entice Noble to engage in a sex act with him, Sweet said.

The promise of a film role, the interview for the film role, and the assurances that everything will be taken care of for you if you relax, including as he forced her to masturbate him, support this, the judge said.

But the judge did agree to drop Weinsteins brother, Robert Weinstein, as a defendant, saying that the lawsuit doesnt successfully claim that he knew about his brothers shenanigans.

Weinsteins attorney Phyllis Kupferstein said, This decision is just the first round, and merely finds that plaintiff has alleged enough to proceed with her case. It does not mean tha...

Anti-Facebook site launches despite legal threats "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Keith J. Kelly

FacebookZoo a new, anti-Facebook blogging site went live on Tuesday despite threats from Facebooks legal team.

The site is pitching itself as a haven for small and midsize publishers who are looking to vent about Facebook algorithm changes that slashed their customer and ad bases earlier this year.

Among the first contributors is Boyce Watkins, founder of Black Business School, who said he was probably pulling in $250,000 a year from his Facebook page. It had attracted 500,000 likes when he was suddenly suspended.

Theyre bullies, Watkins said. We could not even get anyone on the phone to find out why we were suspended.

Mark Zuckerbergs legal team tried to kill FacebookZoo in its crib earlier this year after The Maven, a tech platform for niche publishers thats backing the site, trademarked the name while the site was still in beta mode.

Your unauthorized use of the Facebook name is likely to cause confusion as to whether you or your companys activities are authorized, endorsed, or sponsored by Facebook when, in fact, they are not, someone identified only as Ethel, Facebook legal team warned in a letter to The Maven in May.

To avoid consumer confusion and harm to the Facebook brand, we must insist that you stop using the name and domain facebookzoo.com and disable any site available at that address, Ethel warned.

Maven CEO Jim Heckman has thumbed his nose at the warnings, claiming theres no chance of marketplace confusion because FacebookZoo is a site that is obviously criticizing Facebook.

Facebook claims that its algorithm change, which favored friends and family over media sites, was a way to get back to its roots as a site that connected people.

Publishers would not have moved their audiences over to Facebook in the first place if they knew what was in store, Heckman said.

I feel they baited and switched us, said Holly Homer, whose Quirky Momma page on Facebook had attracted 3.3 million followers and was helping her earn
$50,000 to $60,000 a month before the algorithm change cut it to virtually nothing.

They told us to build a community, and then when we did they told us it wasnt the community they wanted, Homer said.

Now the publishers are often being charged for access to the very viewers they attracted to Facebook in the first place, Heckman said.

Chile Catholic Episcopal Conference Raided In Pedophile Priest Probe "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Zero Hedge

Chilean authorities are raiding the headquarters of the Catholic Churchs Episcopal Conference as part of a wide-ranging probe into clerical sex abuse in the South American country.

The Tuesday raids are occurring in the most important building of the Chilean church in the capital of Santiago, say prosecutors. Authorities recently summoned the archbishop of Santiago, Cardinal Ricardo Ezzati, to appear and testify about the alleged cover-up of sexual abuse which had been going on for decades.

In July, Chilean prosecutors said they were investigating 158 members of the countrys Catholic church  both clergymen and lay people, for perpetrating or concealing the sexual abuse of children as well as adults.

The cases relate to incidents dating back as far as 1960 and involving 266 victims, including 178 children and adolescents, according to public prosecutor Luis Torres.

The prosecutors statement offered the first general view of the extent and scope of the abuse scandal faced by Chiles Catholic Church and how many people are implicated.

Last month, Pope Francis accepted the resignation of five Chilean bishops amid accusations of abuse and related cover-ups.

The vast majority of reported incidents relate to sexual crimes committed by priests or people linked to educational establishments, Torres told reporters.

The entire strata of the Catholic Church from bishops to monks were involved in the crimes, as well as lay people exercising some function in the ecclesiastical sphere, he noted.

There are 36 ongoing investigations, while 23 previous ones resulted in convictions and one other in an acquittal. Straits Times

Theres no doubt that what the public prosecutor is doing is very positive and is starting to open the door to situations that previously were treated as an open secret, Juan Carlos Claret, a member of an opposition group to tainted bishop Juan Barros in his area, told AFP.

In May, Pope Francis summoned the entire bishops conference to Rome after he said he made grave errors in judgement in the case of Baros, who stands accused by victims of pedophile Rev. Fernando Karadima of witnessing and ignoring their abuse.

But the scandal grew beyond the Barros case after Fra...

Black Budget: Financial Accounts May Be Modified to Shield Classified Programs "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Steven Aftergood

In an apparent departure from generally accepted accounting principles, federal agencies will be permitted to publish financial statements that are altered so as to protect information on classified spending from disclosure.

The new policy was developed by the governments Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) in response to concerns raised by the Department of Defense and others that a rigorous audit of agency financial statements could lead to unauthorized disclosure of classified information.

In order to prevent disclosure of classified information in a public financial statement, FASAB said that agencies may amend or obscure certain spending information. An entity may modify information required by other [accounting]standards if the effect of the modification does not change the net results of operations or net position.

Agencies may also shift accounts around in a potentially misleading way. A component reporting entity is allowed to be excluded from one reporting entity and consolidated into another reporting entity. The effect of the modifications may change the net results of operations and/or net position. See Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards 56, FASAB, July 5, 2018 (final draft for sponsor review).

In response to an earlier draft of the new standard that was issued last December, most government agencies endorsed the move to permit modifying public financial statements.

The protection of classified information and national security takes precedence over financial statements,...

Why Global Potholes Threaten Decade-Long Bull Market "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

While bulls are anticipating acceleration in the rates of U.S. and non-U.S. economic growth and an extension in the expansion in corporate profits, the reality, based on recent high-frequency economic data, is that the global economy is slowing in its trajectory and that growth in corporate profits will tail off shortly.

This is a nonconsensus view and forms the basis for my ursine market view. Tops are processes and it is my continued view that a 2018 high in the S&P 500 Index was made in late January.

The Slow March Toward a World Without Nuclear Weapons "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Jerry Merriman

A little over a year ago, 122 countries nearly two-thirds of the worlds total made history by adopting the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW).  Between 20 September 2017 and 3 August 2018, 60 of those countries took it a step further by signing the treaty.  On 31 July 2018, New Zealand became the 14th country to take the final step by ratifying it.  With no deadline for signing and ratifying the treaty, it will become part of international law when 50 countries have ratified it.

Countries opposed to the treaty include all nine countries with nuclear weapons and all 29 members of NATO.  That the treaty is viewed as controversial in some circles should come as no surprise, but it is worth noting that the treaty has overwhelming support from countries in Africa, Central America, and South America.  It is also supported by all of the countries in the Middle East (including Iran) except for Syria, Turkey, and Israel.  Syria participated in treaty negotiations but was absent for the vote to adopt on 7 July 2017.  Turkey, along with four other NATO-member countries (Germany, Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands), allows the presence of U.S. nuclear weapons as part of a nuclear sharing agreement.  Israel has its own arsenal of nuclear weapons and has never signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).  The NPT was originally adopted in 1968 and includes 190 countries.  Palestine is among the 14 countries that have ratified the TPNW.

In 2017, a letter from over 3,000 scientists worldwide in support of the nuclear weapons ban treaty was delivered to the U.N. General Assembly during negotiations to adopt the treaty.  The letter begins:

Nuclear arms are the only weapons of mass destruction not yet prohibited by an international convention, even though they are the most destructive and indiscriminate weapons ever created. We scientists bear a special responsibility for nuclear weapons, since it was scientists who invented them and discovered that their effects are even more horrific than first thought.

Will the treaty, once it is ratified by 50 countries, guarantee a world free of nuclear weapons?  No, but it will be a tremendously important step toward that goal.  A September 2017 article from Human Rights Watch explains:...

The entire West Virginia Supreme Court was just impeached. Heres everything you need to know. "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By True Pundit

West Virginia lawmakers made a historic decision Monday: They voted to impeach the states entire Supreme Court of Appeals, the highest court in the state.

The West Virginia House of Delegates Judiciary Committee approved 14 articles of impeachment against the courts four sitting justices last week. Their alleged grievances ranged from misusing taxpayer money for office renovations to using state-owned property, including a historic desk, for personal use.

The full House of Delegates considered the articles of impeachment on Monday, ultimately approving 11 of them through a series of votes that fell along party lines, the New York Times reported.

Eight of the articles targeted the courts chief justice, Allen Loughry, who, according to the Times, has been suspended since June. Among other accusations, he is accused of lying to lawmakers and using state property for his personal use, including vehicles and gas cards.

The remaining justices acting Chief Justice Margaret Workman and Justices Robin Davis and Elizabeth Walker were impeached on three articles. Workman and Davis were impeached for overpaying senior status judges on lower courts, while Davis was impeached for misusing $500,000 in taxpayer funds on office renovations.

All four justices were charged with neglect of duty, abusing their power, and failing to reign in the spending of the others, according to NBC News.

The courts fifth justice, Menis Ketchum, resigned last month before impeachment proceedings began. He has also pleaded guilty to a federal charge of defrauding the state of West Virginia. He faces 20 years in federal prison.

Meanwhile, Loughry, who was already on administrative leave prior to Mondays developments, is facing...

Named & Shamed: Heres a List of the Pedophile Priests that Abused 1000+ Children "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Pedophile Priests Who Were Shielded by the Church

Monsignor Thomas J. Benestad

Monsignor Thomas J. Benestad is one of the 300 clergymen named in the grand jury report.

In 2011, the Allentown Diocese was approached by a man who alleged that Benestad sexually abused him from 1981 to 1983.

The victim was nine years old when the alleged abuse began.

The allegation was reported to the Northampton County District Attorneys Office, which investigated the matter and found that the boys accusations were credible.

The victim told authorities that when he was a boy enrolled in Catholic school, he was taken out of class by a nun and sent to Benestads office because he had worn shorts to Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) study.

Since wearing shorts were sinful, the boy was told to get on his knees and start praying once inside Benestads office.

Benestad then unzipped his pants and told the boy to give him oral sex, the grand jury report alleges.

The boy did so. Afterward, Benestad squirted holy water into the boys mouth and told him it was to purify him.

No charges were ever brought because the alleged crimes took place beyond the statute of limitations.

Other alleged victims also complained about Benestad, who was allowed to continue to minister.

Benestad, who has denied all of the allegations, is now retired in Boca Raton, Florida.

Over 300 Catholic Pedos Preyed Upon 1,000+ Children Amid Systematic Coverup: Report "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Tyler Durden

A bombshell grand jury report from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court concludes that over 300 members of the Catholic clergy molested over 1,000 child victims amid a systematic coverup by church leaders spanning over seven decades in the second major Catholic pedophile scandal this week following a raid conducted in Chile at the Catholic Episcopal Conference.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro said at a Tuesday press conference in Harrisburg that while 1,000 victims were identified in the grand jury report, members of the grand jury believe there are more and that the real number might be in the thousands since some records were lost, while victims in other cases were afraid to come forward.

We subpoenaed, and reviewed, half a million pages of internal diocesan documents. They contained credible allegations against over three hundred predator priests. Over one thousand child victims were identifiable, from the churchs own records. We believe that the real number of children whose records were lost, or who were afraid ever to come forward is in the thousands.

The coverup was sophisticated. And all the while, shockingly, church leadership kept records of the abuse and the coverup. These documents, from the dioceses own Secret Archives, formed the backbone of this investigation, Shapiro said.

The report specifically faulted Cardinal Donald Wuerl former longtime Pittsburgh bishop who now leads the Washington archdiocese, for his part in concealing the sexual abuse. On Tuesday, Wuerl refuted the claims, saying in a statement that he acted with diligence, with concern for the victims and to prevent future acts of abuse.

The grand jury scrutinized abuse allegations in dioceses that minister to more than half the states 3.2 million Catholics. Its report echoed the findings of many earlier church investigations around the country in its description of widespread sexual abuse by clergy and church officials concealment of it.

The pane...

10 Numbers That Prove That Americas Current Financial Condition Is A Horror Show "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Michael Snyder

Americas long-term balance sheet numbers just continue to get progressively worse.  Unfortunately, since the stock market has been soaring and the GDP numbers look okay, most Americans assume that the U.S. economy is doing just fine.  But the stock market was soaring and the GDP numbers looked okay just prior to the great financial crisis of 2008 as well, and we saw how that turned out.  The truth is that GDP is not the best measure for the health of the economy.  Judging the U.S. economy by GDP is basically like measuring the financial health of an individual by how much money he or she spends, and I will attempt to illustrate that in this article.

If I went out right now and got a whole bunch of new credit cards and started spending money like there was no tomorrow, would that mean that my financial condition had improved?

No, in fact it would mean that my long-term financial condition just got a whole lot worse.

GDP is a measurement of how much economic activity is happening in our society, and it is basically an indication of how much money is changing hands.

But just because more money is changing hands does not mean that things are going well.  What really matters is what is happening to assets and liabilities.  In other words, is wealth being built or is more debt just being accumulated?

Sadly, there are only a handful of bright spots in our economy.  A couple of very large tech companies such as Apple are accumulating wealth, but just about everywhere else you look debt is growing at an unprecedented pace.  Household debt has never been higher, corporate debt has doubled since the last financial crisis, state and local government debt is at record highs, and the U.S. national debt is wildly out of control.

If I went out tomorrow and spent $20,000 with a bunch of new credit cards, I could claim that my personal GDP was soaring because I was spending a lot more money then before.  But my boasting would be pointless because in reality I would just be putting my family in an extremely precarious financial position.

Economic growth that is produced by continually increasing amounts of debt is not a positive thing.  I wish that more people understood this very basic concept.  The following are 10 numbers that prove that Americas current financial condition is a horror show

#1 U.S. consumer credit just hit another all-time record high.  In the second quarter of 2008, total consumer credit reached a grand total of 2.63 trillion dollars, and now ten years later t...

The Federal Reserve: Secretly Sticking It To Americans For Over 100 Years "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Clint Siegner

In the aftermath of the 2008 Financial Crisis, the private Federal Reserve bank cartel was front and center as a target for public outrage.

Former U.S. Congressman Ron Pauls End the Fed message suddenly resonated. Americans hated Fed officials bailing out the banksters richly rewarding them for crooked and irresponsible behavior which helped create the crisis.

But years have passed. Americans have been enjoying the expansion stage of the next great bubble. The central planners at the Fed and their colleagues at the nations largest banks have been busy stimulating the real estate, equity, and bond markets.

The movement to audit or end the Fed has faded back into obscurity.

That is why an article published last week in The Wall Street Journal came as a bit of a surprise. The headline is Well Never Know How Bad the Federal Reserve Is, and it serves as a reminder for those who may have forgotten the Fed is NOT your friend.

The article outlines the central banks policy for keeping secrets. As the primary regulator for U.S. banks, the Fed is responsible for examining banks and writing reports on what it finds.

However, those reports are not for public consumption. They are exempt from the Freedom of Information Act. Instead, they are kept in a file for 30 years, then destroyed.

Examiners might be investigating the errors and sins committed by a bank, but the public never gets to make their own evaluation. We cannot gauge either how thorough the investigation was or whether any penalties are commensurate with the crimes.

The reason for such secrecy is obvious. The Federal Reserve was designed and built to make sure neither its officials nor private bankers are held publicly accountable.

Time and again, Americas latest central bank has provided bailouts for Wall Street, with Main Street footing the bill. Not a single high-level bank executive has been prosecuted for the rampant and pervasive fraud associated with the 2008 crisis.

The big banks have prospered, growing larger and even more systemically important, a term which means too big to fail. As a regulator, the Fed is remarkable for its staggering ineptitude or for its total corruption. You decide which.

Meanwhile, politicians in Washington DC have been able to accelerate the growth of government spending, facilitated by the central bank in myriad ways.

Of course the central bankers...

History Note: The Satanic Bombings Of Hiroshima And Nagasaki "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

The atomic bombings were an intentional holocaust, not to end the war, as the historical record amply demonstrates, but to send a message to the Soviet Union that we could do to them what we did to the residents of Japan.  President Truman made certain that the Japanese willingness to surrender in May 1945 was made unacceptable because he and his Secretary-of-State James Byrnes  wanted to use the atomic bombs as quickly as possible to show results in Byrnes words to send a message to the Soviet Union.  So the Good War was ended in the Pacific with the good guys killing hundreds of thousand Japanese civilians to make a point to the bad guys, who have been demonized ever since.   Russia phobia is nothing new.

James Gilliland: Lame Stream Media, Q, Fueless Energy, Natural and Energy Cures "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

ECETI Newsleter
By James Gilliland

We are moving through a veritable hit storm. Everything is surfacing, the masks are coming off and soon everything will be made known as to peoples true intentions and motives. Many have fallen and in their own self-righteuos twisted way they actually be lie ve they are serving god when it is their own unhealed agenda influenced by unseen negative influences running the show. Beware of the world of opposites in the deepstate/archon/draconian grid.

There is a biblical saying you can measure the god they are worshipping by the works they produce and the company they keep.

The lies and gossip circle the world twice before the truth has time to tie its shoes.

We all have to step back and look at the source of our inspiration, what is the real source fueling our words and deeds. With the planets lined up in retrograde, mars and mercury direct everything is pointing to a hot fiery August. There are spiritual fires or a major infusion of higher consciousness and energy which are bringing everything to the surface. This is going to produce a brutally honest reality check. There will those willingly and in error working with the Archons, Serpent Beings, Reptillians, Negative Greys, Low Level Astral Beings etc. They are being hooked by their own denial and self-serving agendas. Once hooked you cannot reason with them. Why? Because Arcons cannot tell the truth and they have no shame. Which brings us to the Lame Stream Media. All you have to do is reverse everything they say and realize what they are accusing others of they themselves are doing. They attack the conspiracy people, a name used by the agencies and their talking heads to discredit and push their lies and deceptions. These falsehoods they promote have and will continue to be proven incorrect. This not only applies to the lame stream media it also applies to all walks of life. I have seen it in the business, religious, spiritual and UFO community. This is replete through the movie and music industry.

There is a saying in the East, there are no perfect men, only perfect intentions.

Many things begin with high ideals and perfect intentions yet often get hijacked by darker forces. This is the world of opposites. You are going to see a great revealing in all organizations and institutions. During this process you will see the opposite effect. It is important to remember not everything you perceive is how you perceive it. On what do you base your opinion? What kind of programming and conditioning have you been exposed too? What kind of environment were you raised in? All this determine...

My Conversation with Michael Pollan "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

I was very happy with how this turned out, here is the audio and transcript.  Here is how the CWTeam summarized it:

Michael Pollan has long been fascinated by nature and the ways we connect and clash with it, with decades of writing covering food, farming, cooking, and architecture. Pollans latest fascination? Our widespread and ancient desire to use nature to change our consciousness.

He joins Tyler to discuss his research and experience with psychedelics, including what kinds of people most benefit from them, what it can teach us about profundity, how it can change your personality and political views, the importance of culture in shaping the experience, the proper way to integrate it into mainstream practice, andmost importantly of allwhether its any fun.

He argues that LSD is underrated, I think it may be good for depression but for casual use it is rapidly becoming overrated.  Here is one exchange of relevance:

COWEN: Let me try a very philosophical question. Lets say I could take a pill or a substance, and it would make everything seem profound. My receptivity to finding things profound would go up greatly. I could do very small events, and it would seem profound to me.

Is that, in fact, real profundity that Im experiencing? Doesnt real profundity somehow require excavating or experiencing things from actual society? Are psychedelics like taking this pill? They dont give you real profundity. You just feel that many things are profound, but at the end of the experience, you dont really have . . .

POLLAN: It depends. If you define profundity or the profound as exceptional, you have a point.

One of the things thats very interesting about psychedelics is that our brains are tuned for novelty, and for good reason. Its very adaptive to respond to new things in the environment, changes in your environment, threats in your environment. Were tuned to disregard the familiar or take it for granted, which is indeed what most of us do.

One of the things that happens on psychedelics, a...

Puzzling The Awesome Power of Waves Near Ganymede: Only Moon in the Solar System with a Magnetic Field "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By The Daily Galaxy

Its a really surprising and puzzling observation showing that a moon with a magnetic field can create such a tremendous intensification in the power of waves, says the lead author of the study, Professor Yuri Shprits of GFZ/ University of Potsdam, who is also affiliated with UCLA.

Listening to electromagnetic waves around the Earth, converted to sound, is almost like listening to singing and chirping birds at dawn with a crackling campfire nearby. Such waves are therefore called chorus waves. They cause the Northern Lights, but also high-energy killer electrons that can damage spacecraft. In a recent study to be published in Nature Communications, the authors describe extraordinary chorus waves around other planets in our solar system.

The scientists led by Yuri Shprits of GFZ and the University of Potsdam report that the power of chorus waves is 1 million times more intense near Jupiters largest moon, Ganymede, and 100 times more intense near the moon Europa than the average around these planets. These are the new results from a systematic study on Jupiters wave environment taken from the Galileo spacecraft.

Chorus waves are a special type of radio wave occurring at very low frequencies. Unlike the Earth, Ganymede and Europa orbit inside the giant magnetic field of Jupiter, and the authors believe this is one of the key factors powering the waves. Jupiters magnetic field is the largest in the solar system, and some 20,000 times stronger than the Earths.

Chorus waves have been detected in space around the Earth, but they are nowhere near as strong as the waves at Jupiter, says Professor Richard Horne of British Antarctic Survey, a co-author on the study. Even if small portion of these waves escapes the immediate vicinity of Ganymede, they will be capable of accelerating particles to very high energies and ultimately producing very fast electrons inside Jupiters magnetic field.

Jupiters moon Ganymede was first found to have a magnetic field by Professor Margaret Kivelson and her team at the University of California, Los Angeles, and strong plasma waves were first observed near Ganymede by Professor Don Gurnett and his team at the University of Iowa. However, until now, it remained unclear if this was accidental or whether such increases are systematic and significant.

Around Earth, chorus waves play a major role in producing high-energy killer electrons that can damage spacecraft. The new observations raise the question as to whether they can do the same at Jupiter.

Observations of Jupiters waves provides a unique opportunity to understand the fundamental processes that are relevant to laboratory plasmas and the quest for new energy sources, and processes of accele...

Surprising Discoveries About Real-Life Star Wars Midchlorians Previously Not Found in Nature "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By The Daily Galaxy

Just as cars need fossil fuels to power their engines, the living cells that make up our bodies use food as a fuel source. To harness the energy in food every cell in our bodies contains microscopic biological machines, known as mitochondria, which convert food molecules into energy.

Researchers at The University of Western Australia and Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research have made a fundamental discovery about of the atomic structure and function of the biological factories in cells that make energy, providing a new means to target the machines within factories for drug treatments.

The research, published today in Nature, was led by Professor Nenad Ban from ETH Zurich in Switzerland, in collaboration with researchers from UWAs School of Molecular Sciences and Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research: Associate Professor Aleksandra Filipovska, Head of Mitochondrial Medicine and Biology, Associate Professor Oliver Rackham, Head of Synthetic Biology and Drug Discovery and their Ph.D. student Richard Lee.

Professor Filipovska said mitochondria were microscopic, energy-producing factories found in all eukaryotic cells, or cells containing a nucleus enclosed within membranes, representing all forms of life that are visible without a microscope.

Mitochondria contain a set of genes that are used to make key protein building blocks that enable mitochondria to produce energy, she said. These proteins are essential for energy production however little is known about how they are made. The recent discovery of the atomic structure of the machine that makes these proteins (the mitochondrial ribosome) has revealed how they are made.

Surprisingly, this machine blocks itself from making the proteins until it is precisely located where these proteins are required within mitochondria. This is highly unusual and previously not found in nature.

Professor Filipovska said as well as providing a new means to target this molecular machine for drug treatments, the discovery also demonstrated the power of cutting-edge technology to reveal how living systems had evolved to function under different energy requirements.

Defects in mitochondrial function underlie many common diseases such as neurodegenerative, metabolic and heart diseases, cancer, diabetes and ageing, she said. Therefore molecular discoveries provide the much-needed knowledge that enables us to make the leap to disease treatments and drug discoveries.

The next step was to delve deeper into the role of the mitochondrial...

Pink Himalayan Salt Benefits that Make It Superior to Table Salt "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Dr. Axe

Pink Himalayan salt is often said to be the most beneficial as well as the cleanest salt available on this planet today. It has all kinds of nutritional and therapeutic properties, not to mention culinary uses. You can use it as a healthier option to processed salt. You can also use it to create homemade body scrubs and bath soaks, and you may have seen or own a Himalayan salt lamp made from pink Himalayan salt. Historically, the people of the Himalayas have used this versatile salt to preserve meat and fish.

As scientific research has pointed out, US Dietary Guidelines recommend a daily sodium intake 2300 mg, but evidence linking sodium intake to mortality outcomes is scant and inconsistent. (1) The right salt in the right amount is actually very good for your health. Pink Himalayan sea salt contains over 84 minerals and trace elements, including calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper and iron, so it does more than just make your food taste better. Lets look at why you may want to make the switch to pink Himalayan salt for the its impressive health benefits. Instead of skipping salt all together, why not give it an upgrade?

What Is Pink Himalayan Salt?

Pink Himalayan salt is a truly unique salt. Its also referred to as pink salt, Himalayan sea salt, rock salt and Himalayan crystal salt. This salt is classified as rock salt or halite, which comes from the Punjab region of Pakistan about 190 miles from the Himalayas. This region has one of the richest salt fields in the entire world, and they are very, very old. Im talking Precambrian Age or over 4 billion years ago when planet Earth first formed! (2) With a history dating back to Earths creation, Himalayan salt is believed to be composed of dried remnants of the original, primal sea.

Himalayan crystal salt comes from salt mines 5,000 feet deep below the Himalayan Mountain Range. The salt from these mines has experienced tremendous pressure over millions of years and is said to be over 99 percent pure. (3) Pink Himalayan salts color as well as its color variations are indicative of its mineral content. Himalayan crystal salt can be pink, white or red in color. As a salt, pink Himalayan salt is chemically sodium chloride (NaCl), which is defined as a mineral substance of great importance to human and animal health....

The Root Cause of Depression and How to Heal It "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Azriel ReShel; UPLIFT

The Disease of Disconnection

Depression is one of the biggest issues in our world today. With record numbers of people suffering from the dark cloud, and soaring suicide rates, depression is a crippling disease reaching epidemic proportions.

Well-known author and journalist, Johann Hari, suffered from depression as a teen, taking anti-depressants from a tender age. Told, like so many others, his depression was the cause of a chemical imbalance in his brain, he later studied social sciences and embarked on a quest to discover the truth about the cause of his depression. He swallowed antidepressants like millions of others, and after 13 years of pills, without much change, and a broad investigation into the true causes of depression, he is calling for a different approach.

The Chemical Imbalance Myth

His amazing journey involved hundreds of interviews in over a dozen countries and led him to discover that almost everything we know about depression and anxiety is wrong.

I started to research my book, Lost Connections: Uncovering The Real Causes of Depression and the Unexpected Solutions, because I was puzzled by two mysteries. Why was I still depressed when I was doing everything I had been told to do? I had identified the low serotonin in my brain, and I was boosting my serotonin levelsyet I still felt awful. But there was a deeper mystery still. Why were so many other people across the Western world feeling like me? Around one in five US adults are taking at least one drug for a psychiatric problem. In Britain, antidepressant prescriptions have doubled in a decade, to the point where now one in 11 of us drug ourselves to deal with these feelings. What has been causing depression and its twin, anxiety, to spiral in this way? I began to ask myself: Could it really be that in our separate heads, all of us had brain chemistries that were spontaneously malfunctioning at the same time?

These End-Of-Life Doulas Are Guiding People Peacefully To Their Death "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

The Facts: We all die. Mainstream medicine doesnt offer much in the way of end-of-life care. Death Doulas help family and friends with what they can do to help their loved ones come to terms with their impending death and how to handle it themselves.

Reflect On: We live in a culture where more often than not simply talking about death is taboo. Death Doulas can help remove these barriers and open up lines of communication with the dying and their families so they can pass on with much less fear and pain.

By Alanna Ketler

When we typically hear the term doula, we either think what the heck is that?, or we may already know that a doula is a trained professional who assists in a more natural process of childbirth, usually in the home.

So essentially, a death doula is virtually the opposite: someone who assists a person who has a terminal illness, as well as helping that persons friends, family members and even animals come to terms with the fast approaching morality that we will all face one day.

In the world of mainstream medicine, doctors themselves dont offer much to people who are on their deathbed, especially on an emotional level. Family members and friends are often left in the dark as to how they are supposed to cope with the knowledge that their loved one will pass. They are rarely given methods through which they can talk candidly about their loved ones inevitable death, and therefore this topic is often not discussed, which can make it much more difficult to process for the person who is dying and for everyone who is close to them.

Thanadoula

An end-of-life doula is sometimes referred to as a thanadoula from the greek thanameaning death and doula meaning servant. Generally speaking, it is said that the role of the death doula is to walk alongside the dying person and their family. This encompasses a very wide range of services that include: providing spiritual, psychological and social support, assisting with the creation of positive and empowering end-of-life plans, ideas to optimize physical comfort, and educating families on the new and progressive options for home wakes and natural burials. Often, these doulas go above and beyond expectations as they bring light to a phase of life that can be very dark for many.

Making Peace With the Chaos in Your Life "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Tamara Rant

The past year has literally thrown me on my ass, picked me back up, turned me inside-out, and hey even upside-down a few times for good measure. But you seeif I could go back, there isnt one thing I would change or do differently. That may seem a bit nuts if afforded the choice to be able to avoid stress and chaos, but when you learn to make peace instead of trouble with these types of happenings, really shifts begin to occur in not only your life but your perceptions on everything that happens in your life.

When life seems like nothing but an unpredictable ocean of chaos sometimes, it can be hard to remember that staying calm is often all it takes to stay afloat. When were calm and centered, were able to get the best view of whats going on which allows us to also take the best approach to deal with the issue and tasks at hand.

When life throws a million tasks at us all at once, its easy to feel like were going to lose it, or that we should give up on certain things and focus more on others due to lack of time.  The thing is we have time for the things we make time for; thats how it works!

I often felt on certain days that there was no way I would ever get my book proposal completed on time. I wasnt happy with some things and kept doing some last minute revisions, but ultimately what helped me was walking away from it all together for a couple of days. Oftentimes we can become so immersed in one thing, in one project or hobby that we cant see that we are blocking our own creative flow.

On days I started feeling doubt creep in and other low-vibrational energies where my ego wanted to beat up on me, I just stepped away from it for a bit. I remembered why I was doing it (because I freaking LOVE to write and have a message to share with the world!) and suddenly I could feel my heart reopen wide again. Being in your heart-space is vital to being able to not only function in but also proactively navigate through chaotic situations in your life.

I also suggest avoiding worry! I know, easier said than done, right? But think for a moment what the act of worrying actually is doing. You are putting energy into imagining horrible, negative scenarios in your mind of what COULD possibly happen. You are putting creative, intentional energy into it whether you mean to or not simply because you are giving it so much attention and have so emotion behind it. If you are familiar with manifesting, you know these two elements are keys to successfully manifesting.

Instead, shift your focus and energy to what you DO want to happen. Or if your thoughts are on another person, perhaps a loved one you cannot stop thinking about, envision what you DO want for them. Dont keep yourself up at night creati...

Create This Special Vision Board To Manifest Your Dreams and Live Your Best Life "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

By Katalina Aster

It is difficult to pinpoint the birth year of vision boards. Some even say that this tool goes as far back as to cavemen times when people used to draw images on cave walls. We do know that vision boards spiked in popularity after the movie The Secret came out, which talked about the power of manifestationyou receive what you believe in receiving. To speed up the manifestation process, a vision board plays the role as a constant reminder of your goals and dreams, as well as a way to send out the request for these manifestations in clear languageimagery and feelings that they evoke.

Vision Board CreativeA vision board sends your requests into the universe, makes you excited to receive it, and motivates you to keep working toward your dreams.

Traditionally, a vision board is made of cut-out pieces from magazines all glued to one board; it contains all the images of things you want to manifest. However, this method can leave a board looking cluttered and confusing.

There is a better, easier, and more effective solution. You can create your vision board based on the ancient teachings of feng shuia study of energy that placement of objects creates in a space.

By using the same Bagua map used to create the correct placement in a room on a vision board, you can manifest amazing things for all nine categories in your life.

Dividing A Vision Board Into Nine Categories

In feng shui, there are nine categories that are located in every square-shaped space, be that a house, a room, and even a whole property. The same placement can be used for a square or rectangular vision board.

Feng Shui Bagua MapThe vision board is divided into nine equal parts, creating three rows of three items.

The top from left to right are money, reputation, and relationships.
The middle is family, health, and creativity.
The bottom is knowledge, career, and community.

Using the nine squares will make your vision board more organized, clear, and easy to make.

All you need to do is choose the images that inspire you for each categorycan be one or multiplethe images that make you feel the joy you would feel when you reach your full desires.

5 Behaviors To Be More Mindful and Change Your Life "IndyWatch Feed Economics"

Learning to be more mindful will bring enormously positive changes into your life.

By OMTimes Magazine

Change Your Life By Being More Mindful

The significant changes in our lives are preceded by a myriad of small but meaningful changes that have the power to steer our lives to a new path.

Mindfulness is a way that can help us realize this, and these five suggested behaviors may empower us to learn how to be more present, more aware, kinder and receptive to our feelings and the reality around us.

We should point out that, when we speak of happiness,  we realize that It depends on our personal dedication to achieve it. Hence happiness is not a product of Fate.  Changes start happening when we gradually train our mind to be more perceptive, more engaged on what is happening around us, and allow us to be present in the now. Mindfulness allows us to be malleable, fluid and adaptable.

Our greatest enemy that prevents us from crossing these thresholds of opportunity is unquestionably the wandering mind.  Through some studies, scholars concluded that we spend about 30 to 40% of our time in the autopilot behavior.  This type of behavior commonly induces us to let our happiness to be the result of Fate. It is like to live a routine life where we become mere passengers rather than commanders-in-chief is like leaving our own joy in the hands of fate.

This is not the most appropriate. We offer you the suggested changes to include in your daily life these five keys to see fast and direct results.

1. Train to stay in the present moment and access/deal with your emotions,  as they happen.

Mindfulness is, above all, a way of life; a means to grow consciousness of our present moment in its fullness.

To be aware of characteristics feelings such as deception, disgust, contradiction or anger cannot be merely warehoused inside our brain with no consequence.

We must manage them, understand those emotions, take control of this inner world without delay.

2. Abstain from the urge to judge: Be Kind

Learn to live from your own perspective reality without judging. Others have every right to make, understand and live their life as they wish. Be mindful that even when someone seems without a path in life, it doesnt mean he is lost.

Your life is yours, be responsible for it and avoid criticism the way others decide to live their own lives. Realize that people tend to live in different realities, with different backgrounds and coping mechanisms, Adopting this humble attitude will allow you to have an entirely different per...
